Scheduling inconsistency evidence
User reports that Ayala Freshman, JV, and Varsity football did not share the same bye week in 2026, unlike the program pattern the user observed over the prior six to seven years. Public MaxPreps schedules reviewed on September 29 also contained conflicting and duplicated JV dates, while the three level schedules were not cleanly aligned.
Current MaxPreps roster and statistics accuracy concern
Current public review shows Ayala JV’s MaxPreps page still asks for a team roster submission and states player statistics have not been entered. Ayala varsity statistics show a last update date of September 26, 2026 despite later varsity games. User reports that during announced games, incorrect player names are sometimes called because the roster information being used is not current.
Worsening varsity loss margins during 2026 season
Ayala’s varsity results through six games were Summit 26 to 0, South Hills 21 to 17, Chino 19 to 14, Citrus Valley 35 to 0, Chino Hills 42 to 7, and Charter Oak 51 to 3. The loss margins were therefore 26, 4, 5, 35, 35, and 48 points. The sequence is not a steady week by week decline because Weeks 1 and 2 were closer games, but the most recent three losses widened sharply to 35, 35, and 48 points.

Inconsistent bye weeks and level scheduling
User reports Freshman, JV, and Varsity were assigned different bye weeks in 2026, including Freshman sitting out a week when the two upper levels were playing, while the upper levels had previously been idle during a different week. User states that during six to seven years with the program, bye weeks had historically been aligned across levels. Current public schedule sources also show inconsistent and conflicting dates across levels, reinforcing a broader schedule management concern.
Year to date varsity scoring performance compared with 2025
BulldogScoreboard.com shows Ayala scored 41 points through the first six varsity games of 2026 versus 48 points through the first six games of 2025, a 7 point decrease. Ayala is listed as Division 6 in both seasons. In 2025 Ayala competed in the Baseline League against multiple substantially higher division programs, including Division 2 Rancho Cucamonga, Division 2 Damien, and Division 3 Chino Hills. In 2026 Ayala moved to the Sierra League, where listed opponents include Division 3 Bonita, Division 4 Charter Oak, Division 4 Northview, Division 6 Glendora, and Colony with no current division shown on MaxPreps.

MaxPreps roster and program information outdated
Current public MaxPreps pages reviewed in 2026 contained incomplete or stale roster and statistics information. The user also reports firsthand that incorrect player names have been announced during games. The public page condition is documented; the specific announcement errors still require audio, video, or the roster supplied to the announcer.
Player statistics not maintained
Varsity statistics remain publicly stale. MaxPreps shows the varsity stats page last updated September 26, 2026 even though Ayala has played additional varsity games since then. The JV page currently states that player stats have not been entered.
