Disposition of remaining booster funds and obligations
Disposition of remaining booster funds and obligations
The August 18 booster communication states that outstanding expenses and taxes would be handled before any remaining balance was transferred to the Ayala football USB trust account. A complete closing balance, transaction ledger, payment authorization record, and transfer record have not yet been reviewed. The public accountability question is whether the final disposition of funds and obligations can be fully reconciled.
Examples from the record
Reported example: Families report that bills from earlier years were paid during the current booster transition, and that JV and Freshman players will not have a banquet. The payment ledger, invoices, approvals, and banquet communications are still needed before the connection is presented as established.
What the evidence proves
Shows a direct potential current season student impact from the financial transition. If the reported spending is confirmed, the key oversight question is why current season fundraising was applied to older obligations, who authorized that decision, and what protections or plans existed for current players and end of season activities.
What it does not prove
The current record does not establish which reported 2026 payments occurred or whether any payment was improper.
What is still missing
Closing bank balance; full liabilities schedule; taxes; vendor balances; Snap Raise deposit amount; each payment made after the suspension with payee, invoice date, purpose, and authorization; transfer amount and date to the USB trust account; current season banquet budget; and records showing which current season obligations were assumed or declined by the school.
Student impact
Unclear closing balances and obligations can affect current season activities and resources.
